Do Chicago Roller Skates Run Big?

Yes. Most skaters say Chicago roller skates run big, and Chicago says the same. Chicago makes whole sizes only, and on its own site it says its rink skate "runs large due to whole sizing only" and suggests going a size down.

What size Chicago skate should I get?

Order one size down from your shoe size.
Chicago’s black adult skates are listed in men’s sizes. Women: order one size down from your women’s shoe size.
Wide feet? Stay with your shoe size. Skaters with wide feet say the smaller size feels tight.

How should it feel?

Snug, with your heel held down and no sliding inside the boot. A new boot feels a little stiff and loosens up as you skate in it.
