Uniq Swiss bearings are skate bearings from Uniq, the line designed by Doug Glass. They have precision steel balls, double honed races and grooves made deeper for skating. A 16 pack fills a pair of 4-wheel skates.

Questions
Why a shield on only one side?
The open side gives you easy access to clean and oil the bearing. The non-contact shield keeps dirt out without rubbing.
Swiss or ceramic?
The Swiss has steel balls. The Uniq Ceramic has ceramic balls made in Japan and costs more.
How many do I need?
Two bearings go in each wheel. A 16 pack fills 8 wheels, a pair of 4-wheel skates. A pair of 3-wheel skates takes 12, so 4 are left as spares.
Will they fit my wheels?
Yes, if your skates have 8mm axles, as almost all inline skates and most quad skates do. These are standard 608 bearings.
