The FR Skates SL Freeride is FR's first carbon freeride skate with an integrated Intuition liner, on the 90/80/80/90 Freeride frame with metal core wheels.

FR SL Freeride features

Carbon fiber shell.
Integrated Intuition lining: Inner boot and tongue. The foam fits right away and can be heat molded over the whole foot or one spot.
2 micrometric buckles, a toe strap and laces.
FR Freeride frame: A 90/80/80/90 setup, 253mm long, flat and low, on a 165mm mount with 2 rows of 5 holes.
FR Metal wheels: Aluminum hub, 85A, for a balanced roll. TWINCAM MW9 bearings.

Sizing

The FR SL Freeride comes in sizes 7.5 and 13. Measure your foot and order the size for your foot length in FR's chart below. Foot length gives a more accurate size than your street shoe size. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger size.

How to measure your foot

Put a sheet of paper on a hard floor against a wall. Stand with your heel against the wall and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in inches or centimeters. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

In a good fit, the toes lie flat and can touch the front of the skate without pressing on it.

Measure your foot and order the size that matches your foot length in FR's chart. Between two sizes, choose the larger size.

Can the liner be heat molded?

Yes. The Intuition foam molds to your foot as you skate, and it can be heat molded over the whole foot or just one spot. FR says to try both skates on first with any insole you plan to use, and to mold only if they fit.
